With the Silk Pulled Back

Between her knees with the silk pulled back
she is a pearl of nerves

swirled at tongue-tip.  Fingertips
circle along the crux.  Wet

she awakens like a slow
unfurling whisper.

Between her knees with the silk pulled back
I bathe, in echoes.
